Extra virgin olive oil refill tin, 450 ml

This refill tin holds our award-winning extra virgin olive oil “Originale”. The olives are hand-picked in an early harvest on our estate near Assisi, Umbria, and processed within 6 hours of picking. The result: an acidity of just 0.22%.

Taste profile

• Aroma: fresh green olive, grass and olive leaf
• Taste: fruity, with notes of green almond and wild herbs
• Finish: peppery, typical of a fresh, early-harvest oil

Sealed with nitrogen

Light and oxygen are the biggest enemies of olive oil. The tin blocks all light, and when filling we seal every tin with a drop of liquid nitrogen. It evaporates instantly and pushes out the oxygen, so the oil stays fresh until you open the tin.

To refill your stainless steel bottle

The refill tin is made to refill your 500 ml stainless steel bottle or 750 ml stainless steel bottle, so you can use your bottle for years. The empty tin is fully recyclable. Refilling often? Choose the duo pack with two refill tins.

Storage and use

Store the tin in a cool, dark place, ideally between 15 and 17 °C. Best used raw: over salads, pasta, grilled vegetables, carpaccio or fresh bread.
