The olives of this extra virgin olive oil with basil were harvested in early November 2021, and are pressed within a maximum of 8 hours. Once the fresh basil from Campania is available (around May 2022), this olive oil will be produced. The olive oil is stored in large steel vats airtight. These bottles are bottled and have a shelf life of at least until July 2024.
Casa Astrid produces a one-time limited volume of 1,000 liters of olive oil with basil each year. We reserve months in advance the production of fresh basil of the highest quality from a farmer friend from Campania. Both transport and production are, as far as possible, limited to once a year, thus contributing to less CO2 emissions. The extra virgin olive oil with basil is available in 100ml and 250ml bottles, and in a 500ml refill pack.
